The Stamford High Band was invited to perform before 38,000 fans with the West Point Band during the Army/Duke football game at Michie Stadium. Students boarded a 4:30AM Coach Bus to make it onsite for a 6AM rehearsal. At 7AM the rehearsal was interrupted by Army Paratroopers landing on the 50 yard line! We had a little downtime between the rehearsal and the start of the game so band members were able to explore the beautiful campus.
